Certified Nurse Aide

Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) provide hands-on healthcare to patients in medical settings. They assist with bathing, dressing, and other fundamental life activities. CNAs handle additional duties such as documenting health issues, dressing wounds, feeding, and simply interacting with their patients in a friendly and caring way.

CPR First Aide

CPR & First Aid

This essential class educates attendees on the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Course topics include first aid basics, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, preventing illness and injury, and CPR/AED.

This OSHA compliant course is designed for individuals needing to learn or update skills for operating a forklift. The course includes classroom instruction and supervised hands-on operation of a forklift.

Georgia Dept. of Transportation Exams

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Technical College Economic Development Department administers the written portion of the • GDOT Aggregate Certification• Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)• Quality Control Technician Level 1 Certification (QCT Asphalt) examinations.

Program Registration Policies

Walk-in registration is available daily (Monday through Friday) from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. before the registration deadline. Walk-in registration is available at all locations and persons should call 706-369-5763 for directions. Walk-ins arriving for the first class meeting will be accepted only if the class has a sufficient number of applicants to operate and space is available. Fees must be paid by the first class meeting.

Registration by Phone, Mail, or Fax
Call 706-369-5763 to register by phone or to get instructions for registering via email. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted for payment.

Confirmation
Your class may still be canceled if enrollment is insufficient. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Technical College will attempt to notify students whose classes have been canceled, however, it is suggested you call or email for confirmation.

Refund Policy
A full refund will be issued if the continuing education class is canceled. Otherwise, requests for refunds must be received by the registration deadline published in the course descriptions.
